 Maryland Relay is a free service of the Ehrlich-Steele administration that allows persons with hearing or speech loss to stay independent on the telephone. Maryland Accessible Telecommunications distributes free TTYs, amplified handsets, and other assistive devices to qualified applicants who have difficulty using a standard telephone.
