Consistent with the spirit of TASH, the work of this committee reflects a strong commitment to the value of inclusive education for all. Goals for 2005: Implement a system for new conference attendees to be paired with a more experienced member who could assist them in understanding TASH, the conference program, etc. Expand the First Time Attendees meeting so that it is followed by roundtables at the reception for each TASH Committee. Organize a strand at the conference focusing on meaningful outcomes in general education, i.e. - curriculum design, assessment, and instructional planning. Review education section of TASH website to update and augment the information. Focus on strategies for moving school districts to more inclusive outcomes.
