The purpose of the committee on Individuals with Special Health Care Needs to continue to raise awareness of the needs of these individuals and to disseminate methods for providing supports that enable these them to participate in inclusive communities and to enjoy a quality of life similar to that of their non-disabled peers.

Our Goals:

  • Assure that information about ways of providing support to individuals with special health care needs is disseminated to TASH members.

  • Develop a comprehensive strand on "back to the basics" of positioning and handling and provision of related services to students in schools for the 2005 Conference
