A Two-Day Training to Help You Make an Individual Plan and Self-Direct Your Life

This intense training session is for individuals with disabilities and their families and supporters who are interested in self-directing services by enrolling in the New Directions Waiver as a vehicle to accomplish that goal. This session will guide you through understanding how to design a person-centered plan, what is important TO you and FOR you in the plan, and a strategy for developing one that will be your guide in self-directing your services and supports.

From Towson via the Beltway (I-695):
Take Exit 26 (York Road, South)
Go about 3/4 mile to the Towson Roundabout.
Exit the Roundabout, continuing on York Road
Proceed 1/4 mile to Chesapeake Avenue.
Turn LEFT onto Chesapeake Avenue and go to the parking garage behind the library.
There is a pedestrian bridge directly from the third floor of the garage to the library.
