This year's Conference mark's the 30th Anniversary of TASH

The heart of TASH is in the hearts of the people who have changed the face of disability services and supports over the past 30 years. This year's conference is dedicated to all of you ~ and we invite you to meet in  Milwaukee ~ November 9-12th.

The TASH Conference mobilizes vast numbers of folks from around the world in a common experience of belief ~ belief in the presumed competence of every person, and in the powerful role that every person can play in empowering people with disabilities and their families to build the life of their choosing. Each presenter and attendee comes with a personal perspective to share ~ and each leaves with a renewed sense of energy and commitment towards the great possibility for people labeled with the most significant disabilities. The TASH conference is the largest and most progressive conference in the United States that focuses on strategies for achieving full inclusion for people with disabilities. This year marks the 30th invigorating TASH conference, featuring over 2000 attendees, 450 breakout sessions, exhibits, roundtable discussions, poster sessions and much more.

The Midwest Airlines Center, one of the world’s most architecturally exhilarating and technologically robust convention facilities, located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin will be the site of the 2005 TASH Conference events. Opened in 1998, the Midwest Airlines Center is designed for both sensory delight and astonishing efficiency.

The conference headquarters hotels are The Hilton Milwaukee City Center and the Hyatt.  They are ideally located in the center of the city’s business, entertainment and cultural districts, and are directly across the street from the Milwaukee Midwest Express Center, the location of conference activities.  Guests are within easy walking distance of many of the city’s attractions, restaurants, shopping centers, sporting events, and museums.  In addition, the location is just 15 minutes from General Mitchell International Airport.
