Why Speakers Must Pay Registration Fees

TASH is a grassroots membership association that receives a large portion of funding through holding an annual conference. Like other membership organizations, TASH is not able to operate on membership dues alone. We do not receive and state or federal funding, which helps us be the relentless advocates for which we are known! Conference income represents 42% of our annual budget, income that is much needed to allow TASH to continue to be a strong organization.

The TASH Conference is an exciting, well-attended, and profitable annual conference that continues to be known for its ability to get the word out about inclusive, progressive supports. 50% of attendees are speakers! This interactive "share shop" format allows us to learn from each other, and to have many voices represented as part of the TASH Conference.

It is impossible for TASH to hold an inclusive event of this size without charging all attendees and presenters registration fees. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and thank you for your continued support of TASH. TASH members receive a substantial discount on conference registration, so we urge you to join today if you are not already a member!
